Welcome to Rayne’s Sneaker Con 10th Birthday Party. For this event design, we had an outdoor space to work with, so we knew we needed to define the area. To accomplish this, we combined the photo backdrop with the cake/sweets table to create a massive 17ft wall installation that served as the space’s centerpiece, setting the mood for the event.
We took inspiration from the Sneaker Con Show to create our floor plan, which resembled a display arena. The displayed area featured a collection of sneaker-inspired centerpieces that framed the central dinner Hibachi show area. We used cute mini-sequin sneakers as flower centerpieces, which added a touch of glamour and style. To enhance the design, we framed them with gold hexagonal structures, which added a fun and sophisticated element. For the second part, we incorporated a personal touch by using family-collection sneakers as part of the display. The plate settings were a unique touch with a combination of neon plates and napkins with personal touches for the girls, like a customized Nike favor box, a pair of sunglasses, and our favorite detail, Studio Heart custom-made glow-in-the-dark friendship bracelets to serve as place cards and keepsakes for the girls to take home.
One of our biggest challenges was bringing the neon color effect to an outdoor daytime event since LED lighting wasn’t an option. However, we balanced bright colors, patterns, and textures to achieve the desired effect.
