Modern Nigerian Royal Wedding

Welcome to our exclusive design for Whitney & Oluwagbenga’s Nigerian Royal Wedding. This project took just over 30 days from conception to execution, which is the shortest planning time in our Studio Heart’s history for a wedding. We worked with Whitney remotely to plan her dream wedding since she and her fiance were in Maryland, and the wedding would take place in Tallahassee. The process was intense, but the results speak for themselves. We rose to the challenge and created an epic Nigerian Wedding for them to wow their guests and start their new life together in style.

Weddings are all about crafting every detail to create a visual story that has a lasting impact. For this wedding, the monochromatic white and champagne color palette with emerald green accented by candlelights and fresh flowers created an elegant, luxurious, and glam effect the guests are still discussing. A meticulously crafted sea of flowers combines multiple textures to create the perfect backdrop for our couple to celebrate their union. Candlelight accented by beautiful white fresh flower centerpieces, along with a texturized flower tablecloth and an oversized flower backdrop monogrammed with an LED last name sign and accented with velvety emerald curtains with hanging flowers, came together to create a luxurious sweetheart table design that served as the center of the room. We created a family-style long banquet table for the guests to surround the dancefloor so everyone could have a direct view of all the traditions and ceremonies that would take place during the first part of the wedding. The tables combined tall, majestic flower centerpieces in glass structures and low centerpieces to create a layered look. The elaborate layered plate setting was perfect for the Nigerian/American feast the guests were to enjoy during dinner. The parents, as its costumes, were given a place of honor accented with royal touches in the linens and tables. The overall look had a striking, elegant effect that was perfect for this cultural wedding to come to life.  #WhitGbenga4ever
