Music and dance are a language for our culture. Each Latin country has its customs, language, traditions, and beliefs, but music is at the center of all their heartbeats. When we lost the ability in 2020 to meet and dance due to safety concerns, we lost the language that unites us all and allows us to find common ground. Slowly we see the return of live music to our community, so it was important for us as event planners and Latin business owners in the Tally community to contribute to that goal by helping to create an opportunity for all of us to enjoy live music again safely. This past weekend we accomplish just that. Our company partnered with @labuenatally1 and @culturalatinamagazine to bring “A Night of Music” to life. It was an all-white event to promote unity, understanding, and inclusivity for our Latin community and all those in Tally that enjoy our culture. It was a fantastic night of performances from all genres of music. Thank you to our local artists @elio_productions, @paulasofiasinger and @bozasinger and all our friends from Jacksonville who joined us to celebrate @caribegroove , @slokymusic , and @guasoelguason Special thanks to The Arthmanns who helped sponsor the night, and to @thejunctionatmonroe for donating their facility for this free community event. Thank you especially to all of you guys from Tally and those that traveled that joined us Saturday night in celebrating the heart of our culture: MUSIC!!!
Take a look at some of the shots for the night, and stay tuned for the videos coming up that bring you the full live music feel.
