90s Meets Anime Twin’s 18th Birthday

When twin worlds collide, we have two parties in one!! Welcome to Rasheeda’s Back to the 90s World to the left and Rasul’s Anime World to the right for an epic 18th birthday party Studio Heart style.
Rasheeda loves retro music and the 90s. So we took inspiration from that to create a unique birthday party design for her. Vibrant linens with graffiti details served as the base of the design. Fresh Flowers centerpieces framed by pop-inspired decor added a fun, feminine take for the tablescapes. Custom-made chandeliers we created from old vinyl records completed the look. Funky sunglasses and slap-on bracelets were a fun addition for the guests to have fun. The “Secret Slap-on” Mocktail and 90s details in the sweets table added a fun touch. Multiple backdrops completed the room with 90s motives, chain curtains, and oversized colorful balloon sculptural installations.
Rasul loves anime and is also interested in drawing them. So we took inspiration from that and his favorite anime Ichigo Kurosaki from the Bleach Manga Series, to create a unique birthday party design for him. Elegant black, white, and gray linens, his favorite colors, balanced this cross between young-teen and adulthood. We used characters from the anime world, drawing supplies and fresh Statices, and beautifully dangerous Eryngos whose petals look like swords to decorate the tables. Each guest had an anime-inspired weapon in their seat to fight any upcoming battle. A Mocktail Bar with a “Soul Ripper” Signature drink and Ichigo-inspired cake/sweets and a throne with a balloon sculptural installation backdrop completed the design.
They danced, ate, laughed, celebrated with family and friends, and left in brand new cars as an 18th Birthday surprise from their parents. Enjoy the preview, and stay tuned for more.
