We have being working with Keisha & LaClarence for months to plan their modern wedding from save the date to reception. This past weekend the vision became a reality and at the end of the night we had the sweetest note from Keisha:

Seeing the million little details and ideas we work on during the months of planning and design to transforms a troom into a unique vision that has not being seeing before and is meant only for that specific bride and groom and their guest to enjoy and never to be reapetead again, as it was the case with with this two when we transformed the Hotel Duval ballroom into a modern lights and crystal red wonderland is one of the biggest feelings of accomplishment and joy we get. Being blessed with clients that trust us and let us go outside the box, is a gift we take to heart and one our family works tirely to return in kind by exceeding their expectations, and throwing a few great surprises into the mix to keep it fun. Can’t wait to share all the pictures of the design soon!

So we finally are making use the the facebook page we set up a while back. We know we are a little behind the times on that end. But we are getting cut up and starting this week will be updated that page with sneak peeks, special offers, and more. After long months of working with Nick and Tina designing and planning for a fabulous wedding, this past weekend it was finally time to execute and capture their “Harlem Night at Club Maddox Wedding” at the University Center Club. We can’t wait to share how that amazing vision came to life. From the couple’s amazing outfits, and yes we said “outfits” to the full “ceiling to floors” 3pm in the afternoon transformation of the UCC’s Ballroom into a luxury 1940’s Night Club for the hosts and guests to enjoy a sophisticated night of glamour. We will bring you a full posting soon, but take a look at a little preview of this fabulous night.

For the soul of our team, my parents that has meant working on other people’s weddings for the last two years. Last year was working on Rae and Isaac’s Wedding, congrats to them too on their first year anniversary by the way, and this year’s their 37 years of marriage celebration involved, Pizza Hut, a nice bottle of wine, and about one million yards of gray organza. Not exactly romantic, but we have a rain check in a nice gourmet meal I am cooking for them next month and a nice little Destin getaway planned to relax after our current rush is over. Ohh and don’t worry you will get to see the 12ft high x 46ft wide walls (yes walls) of gray shimmery organza we were all working on for one of our wedding designs coming later this week. Either way celebrating or working, we always have a good time together and today was no exception and we all specially laugh our head off every time the Hip-Hop Hamsters Kia commercial came on. Since we have being neglecting our blog and the projects just keep piling up, this holiday weekend and the week that follows, we will be slaving over posts to bring us close to having the blog updated Stay tune!!!

Special congrats to Jennifer and Kevin on the upcoming addition to the family! And good wishes to Katelen and Dustin’s Bulldog Ellie that had surgery! Hope she is resting, so she can be ready for her closeup at their Destin engagement later this month
