After meeting Tasha, and finding out we had 3 short months to design a fabulous 40th birthday soiree, our minds quickly set about creating for one night only the LS Fierce & Fab Lounge with a sexy, fun environment that incorporated Tasha’s vibrant personality and happy outlook in life for her to celebrate her birthday in style. Starting with a blank 4 walls and a ceiling, we knew we wanted to do this in layers. First, a layer of architectural details to the building to create a sense of a real luxury club, then add a heavy layer of interior design to create the layout and look of the place using our collection of White Italian Leather furniture to create main areas as well as smaller set to create more intimate spaces, including 3 rocking lounge beds areas one of which was a main focal point in the layout with a totally sexy Moroccan influenced glam lounge design with a custom built in beaded chandelier. The second to last layer was to add bling and design details to create interest through the different sets in the layout. The last layer to go in was lighting; green being one of Tasha’s favorite color, we knew we would use that as our main wash color for the room, but we threaded hints of red for a little fire and yellow to add warm. After walking out of the building at 5am in the morning on Saturday we knew we had a hit and couldn’t wait to see Tasha make her entrance and have the guests add live and energy to the absolutely rocking LS Lounge. With 2 rocking bars featuring the specialtyy drink in honor of our Diva of the Night “Totlicious” a refreshing rocking green mojito to complement the sexy food, chocolate bar, and ham and cheese bar we designed for the guests to enjoy, the party got started and stayed hot and kicking till 2am while everyone left it all on the dance floor.
