Interior design has always been a part of our event design business and has always had a heavy role in our lives. So when Alma asked if we would design the perfect modern space for her and her girls we found the challenge creatively appealing. Seem like this is the year that a new branch of design opens up for us in the interior design business; this is our second job and although event design will always be the main priority we enjoyed stretching creatively in that direction and loved bringing our sense of personalization to a home. We are already planning the bedroom design for the girls and a master bedroom design to match this for next year. We look forward to the challenge. #TheHeartOfPossibility #StudioHeart
Here is a little preview of the before:
And now for the after … Alma wanted something modern, and homey so merging clean lines and modern furniture with warmer tones and touches kept the space modern but welcoming to lounge around the carpet and play games or watch tv.
For the dining room we wanted to have a special touch. Both Alma and the girls keep God present in their lives, so we had this idea of creating a table inspired by the bible scriptures where the girls could sit and find different phrases that could become topic of conversation as they cook and eat dinner together. It started as glass base and then we used a decopatch method to create a modern clean pattern that went with the space and then become intriguing as you get closer. We loved the final result.
